Hey to prevent an amp to over heat. do you recommended adding a fan or something? my boy has an Alphasonik 2 Ch PMA600HCA Pumping, 2 Alpine SWR-1242D Subs it has been hooked up for about 3 weeks now.. but recently its been shutting down on him here and there... is it because its getting warmer outside, and the amp is over heating? is there a way to cool down the amp aside from shutting it down?
You can put a cooling fan near it...is it in the trunk of a car? Amps rarely overheat (when operated correctly) when inside a vehicle since the driver usually has the climate controls set so he doesn't overheat.
