Gold Member Username: CarguyPost Number: 2918 Registered: Nov-04 | What do you consider cheap? Subfanatic, if you're lucky, you might find XTR 1400 for $250. I was bidding on it before. It's almost like G4 amp. |
Gold Member Username: SubfanaticWalton, Ky Post Number: 3459 Registered: Dec-04 | hmm, might look into this, but i wont have the money for 3 or 4 weeks, so ill ask again around there, i think im leaning towards a hifonics brutus 1500d or somen |
Bronze Member Username: JustintoxicatedPost Number: 42 Registered: Jan-05 | I have not had any problems with my hifonics, and it worked much better than my last amp that was kinda generic, but was better than other generics.. I think Hifonics is great for the money, I know there are better but for the price the sound quality is good and lots of power. Just my opinion and I'm no expert |
Bronze Member Username: JustintoxicatedPost Number: 43 Registered: Jan-05 | Oh yea I have an older Zeus Z600 it's 150x2 @ 4 ohm, 300x2 @ 2 ohm and 600x1 @ 4ohm. Thats amazing that it can produce mroe than a brutas @ 4 ohm hehe, But I can't drop it to 1 ohm |

Bronze Member Username: AlumaprodaveCALIFORNIA Post Number: 29 Registered: Apr-05 | At Sounddomain.com you can get a 2 channel US Acoustics USC2200 for $219.95. When bridged it does 600 watts RMS at 4 ohms at 12.9 volts. And this RMS rated power is underrated from what I have heard. |

Bronze Member Username: Mr_wiglzManchesterEngland Post Number: 24 Registered: May-05 | why don't you try and get hold of a Rockford fosgare amplifier, the 2004 range with the spiky design. a 1001bd or a 1501bd, I bet you can pick one up for little money, especially on ebay. they're very under rated, my one produces 1650 watts RMS @ 2 ohms, it's 2 ohm stable but I've had it drop down to 1 ohm playing for about 6 months and its fine, at SPL I dropped it down to 0.5 of an ohm and still worked like a charm. Brilliant amps, some of the best out there |
Gold Member Username: Suleman36Post Number: 1205 Registered: Feb-05 | Loc_out im gonna keep my CrossFire VR1000D amp. I just got it and cant wait to push my JL 12w6v2 with it at 500 x 1 @ 2ohm and then push my Avalanche 15 at 1000 x 1 @ 1 ohm. |
