Buying subs need help, 2 10s or 1 12?and how powerful

Bronze Member Username: Lukasz70Post Number: 13 Registered: Apr-05 | hi, got an amp 2 days ago, its a sony Xplod 2100gtx rated 600w 100w x 2rms @4ohm max 200w 250w x 1rms @4ohm max 500w go with 12? or 2 10s im planning on getting VISONIK subs, my options are 600 WATT 10" COMPETITION SUBWOOFER i think 300rms, to powerful for amp? 500 WATT 10" SUBWOOFER - SINGLE VOICE COIL so 250RMS? still to powerful? 500 WATT 10" SUBWOOFER - DUAL VOICE COIL all are VISONIK are they too powerful? amp wont handle them well? |

Gold Member Username: InsearchofbassPost Number: 1710 Registered: Jun-04 | oh man those amps true power ratings are worse that i thought a 600 watt amp that only produces 250 rms bridged thats not very good...you should be fine because each 10 would only need 125 rms power rating...what ohms are those subs your getting and how much are they because id tell you to get two kicker 12 c comps before that the 8 ohm version since you get max power at 4 ohm bridge we had one of these subs hit 127 db so two could hit 130 db or so for you...plenty loud...make sure you get these not the newer model http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=39777%26item%3D5772370594 %26%26 |
