Friend- 250$ to spend on system

Wants a mixture of spl and sq because he doesnt always listen to rap. I buy all my items on ebay so therefore i can get things alot cheaper. Just wanted other peoples opionons on what you could get for that kind of money. I suggested some mtx 6000 or 8000. Let me know what you think... |

Bronze Member Username: DisturbedpriestPost Number: 82 Registered: Jun-04 | db has a point kicker is a good product just stay away from the square ones, i would go with a 10 inch its only 300 watts rms,, oh that subwoofer is only 84 dollars off of ebay, you can get a good slot ported box to go along with it for around $50.00, your up to 134 there, go to walmart and get a 8 gauge wiring kit for around 12 dollars, thats 146, now that leaves you 104 dollars, i dont like boss but your friend is cheap so this amp BOSS AUDIO C-550 or one better if you can find it cheaper. i dont like boss personally but if he isnt willing to spend more cash he shouldnt have a system  oh and i would wire that sub up in a 8 ohm load then bridge it that should give the amp a 4 ohm load pushing enough for that sub it says 800 watts peak which probably means like 300 watts rms.. cuz thats boss for you.. but hey.. you get what you pay for.
