I was wondering how i could tell if im putting too much power into the (2) Atlas 12"... my amp is a BOSS AUDIO RIP-D3 ... and at 2 ohms it puts out approx. 1200-1400 watts RMS... and i know that is way too much for those subs... i was just wondering how to power them without blowing them...i know that getting a new amp is best.. but i cant right now =\
-i didnt get the subs yet but i was just wondering...
-could i just go to a local car audio shop and have them mess with it for me?... or what?...
-once i get it powerd right will they bang like crazy?... shaking the whole car??? :D :D :D

do this, get them made to svc 2 ohms, or dvc 4 ohms, and wire them in para series to get a 4 ohm load, giving your boss amp 600 watts rms to give to the subs, that way its safer lol, or around 200 wats boss style lol
