I bid on some subs on ebay 12w6v2 and I'm going to the location to pick them up, but I was wondering if there is a way to test the subs if this guy doesnt have them hooked up when I get down there. eg. volt meter, or a way to put power to them to hear if anything is wrong.... I'm just not that trusting, but he assures me they are in excellent condition.

also now I just bought a RF T1000BD (whats anyone think about that amp?) pushing my 2 12w6v2 and now that I will have that pushing my subs (most likely in a 1 Ohm load) what kind of amps would I be pulling from my alt? (i have a 60-70amp alt stock) and does a cap help or is a new HO alt the only way to go? what else can/should I do?

Search for BatCaps on ebay. They help.
