Audiobahn alum12q

i have audiobahns alum12q subwoofers, does anyone know if they sound good in a ported box?

As long as the box is made to specs, sure. Audiobahn's aren't really intended for sq, so dropping one in a ported box will allow you to squeeze as much spl out of it that you can, which is all Audiobahn's are good for anways, "getting loud"

dont forget you may get rid of sound quality doin that IF you have any right now that is.

screw what the hater guys are saying, those are good sounding subs. i know from experience, i've had many audiobahns, and the alumq's are one of thier best sounding models. i've used them in ported boxes, aero ports seem to well, they reduce much of the port noise.

Zac, nobody was hating in here, (which is a suprise actually). Yes, I've owned an audiobahn as well, yes it was ported, your right, they don't really sound as bad as everybody likes to say, but I still would never recommend them.

Audiobahn is great for the price, and there is nothing you can say to change my mind.
