2004 GMC Yukon mostly designed for SQ but also a little boom-boom in the back:

Head Unit: Alpine CDA-9855

iPod Interface: Alpine KCA-420i

Front Stage: CDT Audio 62HD series with ES200Z X-Over

Rear Fill: Boston Acoustics SL65 Coaxial

Amplifiers: JL Audio 500/1 (Subwoofer)
Diamond Audio D6 600.4 (Speakers)

Subwoofer: JL Audio CVS112RG-W6v2 ProWedge Enclosure

Wiring: (2) Stinger HPM 4 Gauge Amp Kits
(3) Stinger Bullet Series 17 ft. RCA Interconnects
Stinger 12 Gauge Speaker Wire (50 ft.)

Would anyone recommend me adding anything else? I also wanted to make sure that i will not have to upgrade my altinator or add an extra battery.

edead is a type of sound deadener, www.elementaldesigns.com, and i would get a optima yellow top battery, and a battery isolater, made for specific cars, get one at pepboys lol

Have you thought of getting HO alternator for your system?
Orion MBR 75 is a much better and easier choice for isolators. Someone on here is selling it.
It is not available anymore. Orion stopped making it. Subfanatic you might want one if using more than 1 battery.

i dont know what "HO" means, i know where i can get one of the batteries, but which isolator should i get and where can i get one. so basically the isolator just connects two different batteries? and i would use the optima yellow top to run my system?

the way that sub hits all depends on the type of box it is in. It is very tempermental lol! in a sealed box it will not get nearly as loud as it will in a ported enclosure. In a sealed box that sub sounds fantastic if thats what you are going for but if you want any sort od spl out of it it has to run ported.

i am looking for mostly sq, however i was told that it will still sound pretty loud because of the open space that my vehicle has. i was thinking about purchasing the one already sealed in from jl audio: the model # is cvs112rg-w6v2. im not trying to win any spl competitions however i do want it to sound really good and have some really nice thump to it. do you think in the jl line this is my best combination?
