RE SX15 and JL Audio amp

Silver Member Username: Mfgirbaud05Post Number: 109 Registered: May-04 | ok im just wondering what would be the best way to wire my 15" SX to a JL 1000/1 amp....im supposed to get my 15 in the mail soon and dont have enough for the amp yet so i am just borrowing my friends amp....i kinda know a little about wiring amps but that jl amp goes into a 1.5 ohm load and thats where i get confused at....can someone please help me out? |

Silver Member Username: SouthernrebelMonroe, Louisiana USA Post Number: 650 Registered: Mar-04 | Wire the SX15 in series so you will have a 4ohm load. That will be the safest thing on your 1000/1. |

Silver Member Username: Mfgirbaud05Post Number: 113 Registered: May-04 | or width is actually 35" but thats counting the 2" slot to make it ported...but it is 32.25 from one side to the other side before the 2" ported part...its 14.75" from front to back or 13.25" not counting the 3/4" MDF...sry i dont know too much about boxes...but can someone just tell me how this box will sound with my RE SX15? i mostly listen to rap so how would that box sound with it |
