i have 2 Alpine Type X's, 3000 peak watt and around 1500 RMS watts, which amp would make it bang the best SPL wise and what should i look for in amps to tell which will help speakers bang harder???

Try a HIfonics Brutus B1500... it will get you what you want and be one of the most cost effective.

It just depends on what ohms the sub's are, and how much money you are wanting to spend.
p.s, the type X is 1000 watts rms I believe.

ya they are 100 watts RMS. You wanna match the combined RMS with the RMS output of the amp. your lookin at 2000 watts RMS total, 1000 per sub, so answer taylors question on impedance and then depending on how they are wired you will need a 2000 watt amp. A Hifonics Colossus or Orion 2500D would be good.

Or you can get two amps and have each amp drive its own woofer.
