what will hit harder and sound better the jl or the eclipse,im a big jl fan and i wanted to know what you guys think of eclipse. what you think about that eclipse 15 titanium or the jl audio 15w3 and what will be the best for over all everyday rap playing.

i feel sorry for whatever sub you get because its going to be forced to play that rap bullshi t, but if you want to hear rap as good as you could possibly hear it (like rap could ever sound good), get the JL 15w3. Oh, and i hope you can be converted to listen to real music. Rap is total trash!
John, provided you have proper power to either sub, compare Fs and Xmax of the two. that should help determine how the sub will sound, and how much air it will be able to move. when comparing Xmax, be sure both measurements are peak to peak or one-way.
