I installed my HCCA about 2 weeks ago, the subs pounds like nobodies business but i think i want a more SQ geared setup, something a little more punchy instead of boomy i guess you would say. i've noticed i listen to alot more rock/hardcore music then i do rap and whatnot so i need something that will reproduce double kick bass very very well. Yet i want something that will get low as well.

I'm really interested in an ID Max or a RE SX, they are both about my price range.

The power i have to work with is 600rms @ 4 ohms and 1200rms @ 2 ohms...

input would be greatly appreciated...

im thinking about just sealing off my port for my hcca right now and seeing what happens, i know the sub will be fine in the sealed inviroment as it is...

i'm pretty sure i figured out my problem, i had done the math wrong on the little dots where my LPF knob was on my amp, so it was only giving me like 40hz and below tones into the sub...

sounds much better now :-)
