I need help very very bad my amp shuts off when the subs hit please help

My boss amp goes into protect mode as soon as the subs hit but when the radio is off or the volume is very low the amp will say on ... i made sure it was grounded really good but i cant figure out what the problem is... can someone please help me out...

Sounds like the voltage going to the amp is dropping below the operating level of that amp. get a capcitor or a ho alternantor if this is the probelm. Also make sure there is paint inbetween the ground and the chasis

Make sure your subs aren't wired in a way that would present an impedance lower than what that amp can handle.

What subs do you have(voice coil resistance/configuration) and how do you have them wired? 9 times out of 10 when I see someone with your problem its because their amp is driving a load it wasn't designed for.
