okay on a subwoofers specs. when it says like 96.4 db for sensitivity, what exactly is that meaning?

it means 1 watt 1 meter, so if you gave it 1 watt and your ear was 1 meter away tahts how loud it would be, i beleibe, could be wrong lol

Yup, the sub will produce 96.4 db's at one watt one meter away. You really don't have to worry about Sensitivity ratings though, since companys can measure it in different ways to plump up their numbers and make their products look better. Once you start running anything over a couple hundred watts sensitivity doesn't really matter.
