My 18" avalanche is making a rattling sound when it is on. It still sounds like its hitting with a loud rattle. I have the sub out of the box and there isn't anything wrong with it visually any ideas would be awesome.
u have a 3 year warranty on them assuming u got them from the Ascendant audio itself and u didnt do anything crazy with it. just call them and talk to them about it
It can take from 800-1200w rms from what I understand. You've probably cooked it to be honest.
*check to see if the spider is loose *shake the sub and see if you hear something *listen at low volumes and try to pinpoint the rattle *put another amp on it just to make sure
