okay so i have the 2 401s RF amps leading to two 10 inch l7 kickers(dual 4ohms). Each amp powers a seperate sub. The subs are wired in series and the amp is bridged, is this the best setup? Or should i switch my l7's for 2ohms?? thankz alot for your help

You would notice a pretty significant increase is sound level if you rewired the subs to 2 ohms, but you will also notice a larger strain on your alternator, so make sure your electrical is up to snuff for the new demand.

also be sure the L7s are rated to take the power the 401s amps will provide @ 2 Ohms
I don't recall teh RMS rating on RF amps. I don't deal with them much.

The RF amps are 400 watts rms and the l7's are 650 rms max, so im in the clear right?

I knew the L7s from memory, but the RF amps I don't keep up with their model numbers.
