I have a JL 12W6v2 in 1.25 cu/ft sealed enclosure powered by a JL 500/1 amp. I'm happy with the SQ but want more SPL without compromising the SQ much - I want as much SPL as I can get from the same amp without adding another sub.
Would a 10W7 hit harder than the 12W6v2? Sealed/ported?
And what about 12W7 would this amp be sufficient for that esp. in a sealed box?
get a slot ported enclosure built to JL specs you will be very impressed with that sub. It sounds good in the sealed but much louder and cleaner when tuned low.
