obviously the X.X.X. will have much better sq than the SX but as far spl how would the SX compare to the X.X.X.? the SX to my understanding is more suited as more of an spl sub as where the X.X.X. is more of a sql sub. the SX probably has gret sql compared to competitors in its price range im guessing.

which will have greater spl with 1000rms the SX or the X.X.X.?

will the SX maintain decent sq with max power?

i m not saying the SX is better than the X.X.X. becuase its just not.

On 1000wrms the SX and X.X.X. should be neck and neck in SPL. One really good thing about the SX is that they like smaller boxes. I do 145.1dB w/ a jbl bp1200.1 on my SX15.

I went from a brahma 10" to an SX15...the brahmas SQ was noticable better than the SX is, but the SX is have pretty decent SQ. I like the sound of it much better than my old L5 12".

how many watts rms are you running to your SX?

i was thinking aboy running 800rms to it would that be enough?

is 1000rms to much for the SX? could i run it with 1000rms without worrying about it having problems?

i think 1000 watts rms is what RE recommends you put to it

RE rates the SX at 1000wrms.

800-1000wrms would be just fine. It could take more, just dont send it clipped power. With 1000wrms it would perform nicely.

WOULD THE SX HAVE MORE SPL THAN TH X.X.X. IF THEY WERE BOTH RECEIVING 1000RMS?
