i have around $600 for 1 or 2 subwoofers. i have an alpine cda 7941, and 2 alpine mrd m501's(600 rms x 1 @ 2ohm) im thinking about selling them and getting a few hifonics amps.(bx1500d). i am either going with 2 15" Memphis Mojo's(quad voice coil), TCcustoms 18", solo x, MT, 2 15" SX's, or 2 15" soundsplinter RL-p15. which would be the best set up for SPL?
well i was going to go with half way descent sound quality but i said f*ck it! might as well worry about sq when im looking for a new set of components lol..but what is going to get extremely loud in the trunk of a 1996 taurus? let me know your ideas and an idea of what type of numbers i should be hitting if you can just take a guess.
there is a guy that is about an hour away that is selling 2 15" memphis mojo's. quad coil for $500 picked up...but i would only be able to run 1 at the moment. would that be a better option?
i know they get loud but i dont like them that much, no sq at all, mostly for burbing though. there is a audio shop owner here where i live who has one and he hits 162 at the dash, not sure what mic though. big as.s box and is in a civic hatch. i think he has 6000 watts to it. autotek amps.
