I asked this question before and was given the advice to buy a jbl bp300.1 amp but I was unable to find it new. I would really appreciate another suggestion or a place where i could buy the jbl. Thanks

I have the kappa perfect 12.1d....which i think is the same as his. it's 4ohm dual voice coil which i think can be wired to 2ohms(please correct me if im wrong) i'm looking for an amp for two kappa perfects 12.1d...so this is helpful to me as well.

I'd go with a 500W RMS amp (PPI PCX-1250, JL 500/1, maybe even jbl bp600.1) cause those subs are pretty underrated and can handle a lot more than the spec's say and sound awesome.

Unless you feed it a clipped signal or 2000W RMS you'll be more than happy. Just read the reviews here.

(Just skip the first review, the guy is obviously an idiot... 900W RMS, notice he doesn't mention what amp he used... probably clipped it to death)
