HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA lol is laff out loud hahahha but Rob, thats y i asked, my name is johnny so i see johnny boy up there amd im like hmmmmm?? whats this? then its sumpin that i couldnt explain so i was like F it.
Sub you should have been able to hear tones above 40 some hertz. What is your lowpass filter set at? Shouldn't really be lower than 80. I don't know why you can't hear anything at 43 hz and up, you definitely should be able to. As for the 7 hz, anything below 20 hz isn't even audible to the human ear, so your not gonna hear 7 hz no matter what. The only reference you have that the sub is even playing is the movement and maybe some mechanical noise from the sub or air leaking from your box.
yea...well i dont have anoything from 20hrz-7hrz, so i just said 7 hrtz and down, but i know i shouldnt be able to below 7 hrz, but the one that got the loudest and shook me the most in my car was around 40 hrz, and then it just kinda went downhill to me...ill try testin it again...but i need an actual cd instead of one i burn lol
well they had it and all i hear is like the sub flapping its little butt offf...its kinda funny but it sounds scary...but ill go out and test it again...brb
ok here is what i played that actually matters lol 33hrz 40hrz 43hrz 45hrz 50hrz 70hrz ok well...the 70 gave slight ringing in my ear and i doubt that was the loudest though in my head the 43 was the most drastic of them all forsure...50 wasnt that loud...huge drop from 45 and in loudness it prolly went like this 43,45,40,50,70,33...so what do you think i should tune my box to?
Displacement is the peak displacement volume. Multiply Sd (which is the surface area of the cone and 1/3 of the surround ) x Xmax (Linear (one-way) travel of the cone)
