Gold Member Username: InvainMichigan United States Post Number: 1421 Registered: Aug-04 | Jeese. GET THE ALPINE. If you can find a good Eclipse that you can afford go for that too. |
Silver Member Username: SubfanaticWalton, Ky Post Number: 783 Registered: Dec-04 | why the alpines...why not the clarion of the pioneer...but i need a cd That WILL NEVER SKIP lol |
Gold Member Username: InvainMichigan United States Post Number: 1423 Registered: Aug-04 | The Alpine will never skip. Clarions are good too, but the ones you were looking at were lik 600 bucks man. I'd go with Alpine over Pioneer everytime too IMO. |
Silver Member Username: SubfanaticWalton, Ky Post Number: 784 Registered: Dec-04 | ok then ill check out the alpine stuff again...but i am mostly in for somen that doesnt skip..sounds good...and looks tight |
Gold Member Username: InvainMichigan United States Post Number: 1424 Registered: Aug-04 | Sub, have I ever lied to you? Lol. Just check the Alpine out... |
Gold Member Username: Jonathan_fGA USA Post Number: 3435 Registered: May-04 | Pioneer Premier and Clarion Proaudio are very nice units, not worse than Alpine by any means at all. Choose based on what you like, there is no sense in having an Alpine head unit just because everybody says so. Eclipse makes fantastic head units, too. |
Gold Member Username: InvainMichigan United States Post Number: 1425 Registered: Aug-04 | Lol. I wasn't telling him he had to. He's just being stubboron. "well...i didnt really like the stuff they had...it all looks to similar" It's your choice though Sub. |
Gold Member Username: Jonathan_fGA USA Post Number: 3438 Registered: May-04 | I wasn't really referring specifically to you, just to let you know Alpine seems to be a brand that has a lot of brand loyalty (too much in some cases), if you know what I mean. |

Gold Member Username: James1115Wilton, Ct Post Number: 1703 Registered: Dec-04 | polyfill tricks the speaker into thinking it is in a bigger enclosure then it really is. as far as your neons maybe the tubing broke those things break all the time. try hooking them up to your battery pos and neg to see if they light up, if not they light is bad. |
Silver Member Username: SubfanaticWalton, Ky Post Number: 791 Registered: Dec-04 | well...i hooked them up when i got them for xmas and they worked...i sealed them up and put them in safe keeping...then yesterday was the first nice day of the year..and now i dont know what the deal is lol...so i think my box is to small on one of my subs..can i fill it with polyfill |
