Generally the higher ohm subs are paired with 2-4 subwoofers to lower impedances but i think this one is a single voice coil so running one only would require a bigger amplifier to push 200rms at 8ohms. Amplifiers dont show 8ohm ratings so if your stuck on this sub look for an amp that pushes 400-500rms at 4ohm. Look for a dual 4ohm subwoofer, i think that would be your best bet. Kicker Comp VR is always a great low-budget choice. |

I had a RF HX2 10" in a ford ranger with a compact size enclosure behind the drivers seat. Sounded good inside the cabin, but outside the truck the bass wasnt to great. Depends what your after. |
