i have a Lexus is300, and there is a metal plate between the back seat and the trunk, i think it is keeping the bass from getting in to the cab, any suggestions???

Try to flip the seat down, that should make a difference.

If your that desperate, then James's idea isn't that bad. Your not gonna see it, and it would make a difference. Just cut like 2 big holes in the metal or something. I personally cut 6 x 9 holes in my rear deck, and then put 6 x 9 grills over the holes, to make it look clean, as though there were speakers there when it's really just 2 holes. Those 2 little holes made a suprising difference.
