I just bought/installed my new 10 inch Alpine R Series Sub, and Alpine M350 Amp with deck and fgront and rear speakers, my question is, I was told I shoudln't turn up the Sub to loud for about 10 hours?? until it gets worked in?...is this correct, if not, are there any precautions I should do?...thx again folks!
To be honost I pushed mine a little too hard the first day I had them, but they turned out fine. I guess it is a good precaution to take thought, I might have gotten lucky.
you don't need to break them in. places like circuit city say that. cuz someone buy a $hitty audiobahn sub and they tell them not to crank it up for a few weeks so it can break in. but the true is, they dont want u to realize that its not a good sub until its too late to return it. it woulnt hurt to not turn them up all the way for awhile, but its not necissary.
