for those of u that didnt read my earlier post, i have 2 jl 10w7s on 2 jl 500/1 amps... in the recommend 1.25 cu ft sealed enclosures... as of right now i have them downfiring with a 5 inch lip on the boxes to account for excursion... well it sounds pretty damn tight right now, and is loud for 2 10s... but i was wondering if there is any other suggestions for facing them? ive faced them up but they just dont seem to hit as hard... any suggestions? or leave em downfiring?
Try them firing twords the back of the car, so the sound waves bounce off and travel back at you. That is usually what sounds the best to most people, but if they sound good facing down, them leave them be.
