the 13w7 is dual 1.5 ohm coils right? well then if you wired them parallel wouldnt that go down to a .75 ohm load which is not suitable for the jl 1000/1 amp because its made for 1.5-4 ohm loads.... could spomeone help me out? thanks

that is correct, but if you wire it in serries you get a 3 ohm load... now you amp and sub are both happy

okay then i need another correction...lol... if you wire them series doesnt that give 1000w RMS to each coil totaling out to 2000w rms?

thanks for your response by the way

nope...the coils can handle 1000wrms altogether.

doesnt matter if you wire it series or parrallel...its still 1000wrms.

you thinking about wireing batteries together...if you put 2 12V's in parrallel you will get 12V output. If you wire em in series you will get 24V.

JL slash series have a regulated power supply, so the ohm load doesn't change power. JL 1000/1 gives you 1000W between 1.5 and 4. There E series is not regulated, so generally they give twice the power at 2 ohm that they give at 4.
