Its plenty of power,it would sound great. The amp is kinda exspensive tho.Ive got a 12w6v2 and i was gonna get the 500/1 but i think im gonna get zapco, they are about the same but zapco is made a lttle better.Plus if you look around zapco is usally cheaper.

I have never heard the atlas' before but I have heard good things. The w6 is one of my favorite subs. It is made very well and they last a long time. I have 3-10w6's and they are 8 years old and they still slam away like they were new.

car audio and electronics.com has a review on the 12 inch w6. they say it is the best sound quality sub they have ever heard. the 12 inch w6 would run perfect with a 500/1 to answer youre question mike london

hey mike are you talking about the w6v2? or the w6? That amp will cook a W6 but is a very nice match for a W6v2. If you are interested in getting a w6v2 I have one for sale and you are right around the corner from me. Where are you getting this Audiotronics?

mine is in excelent condition I can even let you hear it before you buy it if you want. That JL amp is way to powerful for it it is a dual 4ohm sub so you can wire it for 8ohms or 2 ohms and that amp at 2 ohms is 800 watts. I have origanal box for it as well with manual. Let me know.
