www.powered4sound.com check them out they are very expensive but appear to be worth it.

Just imagine a snail shell, I think it's kind of a series of chambers that sorta spiral around. I think there's something like 3 chambers.

I don't exactly know why it all works. It's just their own specail design. Let me tell you, they do work though. Go watch the video of the 6.5"

They used to sell their boxes with Brahmas in em. What happened? Nothing about Adire is on their site anymore?

i think brahmas are on back order so they cant get them. the old ss was just a basic folded horn box. now the new ones are made a lot different, but the internals lok nothing like a snails shell. they are pretty difficult to build thats why they are costly, and not too many people know the design to duplicate, and they work.

Actually they kinda do look like a snails shell, just more of a square shape. Go to the "store" section on http://www.powered4sound.com/ and look at the "The Original Snail Shell" logo. The background is the top view of a snailshell box cut open.

wow i didnt notice that... thanks thats exactly what i was looking for.... looks very complicated to get it right... way to complicated for me... i guess thats a good thing because it hink they look hideous :-X
but i guess people dont buy them for the looks

that box is there old one. its just a basic folded horn.
