Divide subs or not?

I am making a speaker box to fit in the bottom of my trunk. I wanted to add four tens but if I divided it each speaker would only have 0.37 cubic foot, which is only half of what it needs. Would it be a good idea to put the four in with no dividers in between each sub and run them all of the same channel? Or would they fight each other? If it won't work then I'll just put two in. This way each sub will have 0.87 cubic foot. Besides four tens will be plenty of power. Six just would have been overkill.

They won't fight each other as far as I know.

It's better to put 2 subs well drived and intalled than 4 with poor enclosure... Divide your subs, you'll get more sound quality.

Put one divider in. You can run two subs in one enclosure.
