I have a Rockford FOsgate 800.2 amp, NOT the punch series. The punch certificate states it puts out about 960 rms. My question is, should I go with a 10W7 or a 12W7 with this amp. Would it be too much for the 10...too little for the 12?
Thanks

ohhh but I dont believe the punch amps are stable below 4ohms bridged. The w7 puts out a 3ohm load.

I have 2 jl 500/1 amps. Should i go with the 12w6v2's sealed which are 400rms each or the 10w7
s which are 500rms each? What yall think

youll kill your amp cause its not 3 ohm stable which is what the w7 requires.

I am sure it could but I wouldnt recomend it. Hey Mo I was going to respond to your other post but I will do it here. I would go with the 12w6's with your 500/1's to each of them. I dont think you will get the depth you are looking for with rap in the 10's but the 12's will hit them very nice. You will have better Q out of the w7 but not much. The w6v2 is designed very similiar to the w7 and the price tag difference in my opinion is not worth it.
