I have a Rockford FOsgate 800.2 amp, NOT the punch series. The punch certificate states it puts out about 960 rms. My question is, should I go with a 10W7 or a 12W7 with this amp. Would it be too much for the 10...too little for the 12? Thanks
I am sure it could but I wouldnt recomend it. Hey Mo I was going to respond to your other post but I will do it here. I would go with the 12w6's with your 500/1's to each of them. I dont think you will get the depth you are looking for with rap in the 10's but the 12's will hit them very nice. You will have better Q out of the w7 but not much. The w6v2 is designed very similiar to the w7 and the price tag difference in my opinion is not worth it.
