I am new to car audio and i was wondering how you actually adjust the power of a subwoofer, do you do it from the H/U with the bass control or is there a seperate wire coming from the amplifier which controls this, or am i completely wrong? Can you adjust the pre amp output levels on the H/U? sorry if that didnt make much sense Thanks alot terry
It depends on what you define bass control as. If you meen bass as in the equlizer, than no, that is not used to adjust the power of the bass. If you meen a bass nob such as the one's on Alpine headunits, then yes it does control the subs output. No, i'm pretty sure you also cannot adjust the pramp output levels on the H/U.
