JL uses it's own methods on the W7 driver. |

It also has a forced air cooling frame, which basically adds a little control to the sub and cools the motor when air moves through the frame. Of course, it also uses a very well designed suspension system to keep things linear as well. Another thing you have to take with a grain of salt, the ID Max is a very good subwoofer and doesn't boast huge technologies, but sounds every bit as good as a W7 or Brahma. It accomplishes it's purpose with a very tight gap and well designed suspension. |
