Custom Boxes

Now that I have an amp for my 2 15's im about to start on a custom box. I was thinking of having one of the subs faced into the box and the other normal. Would you recommend this? As far as the box I plan on getting the specs on the sub and fine tuning it. Im an SQ/SPL guy I want it to hit hard and sound beautiful at the same time so would you recommend ported or sealed

Well, ported would probably be the best bet for higher SPL, and I personally think sealed usually has better sound quality, but if you build the ported box perfectly to specs to match the sub, then supposedly they can actually have better sq. As for one sub in and one sub out, when you mount a sub with the magnet facing out it's called inverting it, and yes it will be fine. Most people usually do it for looks. Just make sure you reverse the polarity of the inverted sub. (when you hook it to the amp, just switch the positive and negative around)
