300 watt amp for 250 watt RMS sub okay?

Anonymous	Posted on Thursday, February 03, 2005 - 00:31 GMT I have a 300 watt RMS Rockford Fosgate mono amp and I'd like to use it on an Infinity 1032w rated at 250 watts RMS, 1000 watts peak. Is this a good idea?
