Thsi year one guy hit over 170 DB's with 2100 watts so it is very possable.

SPL isn't as much about the subs as it is the setup in general. There are many subs out there that will hit high numbers, hell there is a champ out there that won with all Lightning Audio equipment, can't remember which class he was in.
