Thursday, January 27, 2005 - 05:24 GMT i beleive kicker's solo x holds the world record for spl, but records can always be broken, so it is not enough to call it the best

Thursday, January 27, 2005 - 06:37 GMT lol, im talking about spl, the world record means it was the highest spl setup up in the world untill that point in time. old records become disregarded and obselete as they are no longer truely the loudest in the world, lol. until the point that there is a new record but what i was saying is, records are broken all the time, so solo x isnt given as the best ever

Thursday, January 27, 2005 - 12:46 GMT Maybe consider a MTX RFL152 with about 2000 watts.

Thursday, January 27, 2005 - 17:32 GMT well considering the fact that there are many SPL records Robbie you arnt right on that statement my friend. there are many classes for which there are records 0-300,301-900,901-1800,1800 and up and thats just USACi. 2000 watts is an incredible ampunt of power. Thsi year one guy hit over 170 DB's with 2100 watts so it is very possable.

Friday, January 28, 2005 - 22:54 GMT 12,000 isn't right, it's over 100,000 watts and powered by AC. SPL isn't as much about the subs as it is the setup in general. There are many subs out there that will hit high numbers, hell there is a champ out there that won with all Lightning Audio equipment, can't remember which class he was in.
