Gold Member Username: GlasswolfNorthWest, Michigan USA Post Number: 7159 Registered: Dec-03 | http://www.bcae1.com/fuses.htm that answers all of your questions. match the main line fuse to the combined peak current draw of both amps at whatever load they're running. to figure that out take each amp and find out the RMS wattage it'll put out (all channels combined) at 2 or 3 ohms or whatever you're running. then divide the total by 12. after that, if the amp is class AB (full range multichannel) multiply the result by 1.4 to get your total current draw. if its a class D subwoofer amp, use a multiplier of 1.2 instead. take the two totals and add them together and round up to the closest fuse size. |
