I was just wondering if this 12" subwoofer is a decent speaker or a piece of crap. It has a low frequency response and i know infinity makes pretty good speakers. Anybody with some knowledge on this help me out.
my personal experence is this. Ive gone threw 4. in avout 4 months. The first two voice coils blew after about 2 weeks of use with 200 rms going to them. The third cone cracked, and then the forth the rubber surrounding disconnected from the cone. I have a extended warrantee at best buy/ futureshop, so when they do this, i can return them for a new one. Im on lucky number 5 now. As for sq and spl, for there money, they are great. So if yhou get it, get the extended warranty. But if I were you id get the Type R's, My buddys got them and there just as good ( maybe better) and his havent broke yet!

I'd go for the kappa or Kappa Perfect subs if you want to stick with infinity. Check e-bay for good deals.
