Does anyone kow how to tell whether your subs are dual or single 4 ohm dvc? I know my subs are 4 ohm but how do you tell if they are single or dual voice coil

look at them. if there are four seperate connectors then it is dvc. two connectors is a svc.

Is 1 kapton coil better that dual voice coils????

single or dual coil makes no difference to the sub's performance.
it's strictly a matter of convenience for matching the speaker load to the amplifier you choose.

how do you know which is the best for that sub....i mean is there like a formula or a ration for that????

you just need to figure out the following:
how many subs you want to run per amplifier
what options you have for coils on the subs
how much power each subs needs

then you can match that information to the proper amplifier
