2 ohm optimized 1 ohm stable....what about in between?

j-dub dub Bronze Member Username: Jdub_dub Post Number: 28 Registered: Nov-04	Posted on Friday, December 31, 2004 - 01:47 GMT the jbl 1200.1 pushes 1200 watts @ 2 ohms and @ 1 ohm. what would happen if i got 3 4 ohm subs and wired them in parallel? the load would be 1.33 ohms. how many watts would the amp push out? does the amp give 1200 watts between 1 and 2 ohms? or does it have some weird curve between the 2 integers?
