I recently bought a amp that didnt have a fuse included with it, I know on most amps it'll say right by the fuse what kind it takes but this one doesnt. So I was wondering if there is anyway to find out what kind it would take?
Do you know the power rating for it? Let's say it's 500W, so 500W / 12V = 42A. Now round that off and you can see it'll require 20A x 2 if it has 2 slots. If not, you should be able to open up the amp and check the circuit board. Lot of them list the fuse size under the board.
