How to actually BUILD a port

OK OK ive seen how to measure port sizes and calculate volume and this and that but NEVER seen how to acutally build a port. say i have a 4"X12"X10" port but my box is 33"X"20"X25" and i need two ports. how to i build them into the box?




do i need to just cut out the correct sized holes in the front panel and glue/nail the port to the back and thats it? or what else? lemme kno guys

yea sounds about right...cut out the ports inner dimmensions and ouline it with MDF to the correct length you'll need to be using to obtain desired frequency seems to be the easiest way to go about it...
