if a sub comes with exact dimemsions for a port and box, and you build it exactly to the specs(ie compensate for used volume of braces, driver ect) that means that the box is tuned to the optimum frequency? am i right or wrong? plus since the local home depot wont sell pvc by the foot, would it be possible to use metal ducting(not the retractable kind, the stiff kind, or would it throw the resonance off and all that stuff
