Would a Memphis 1000D with 1100 watts at 1 ohm blow 2 10" rockford hx2 punch's with 150-500 watt rms and 1000 watt max? I am going to wire them parallel but i need to know if it will Blow my subbs?
if you're gentle with the gains i'd say you should be alright, if you have self control, but if your one of those errogant pr!cks that pumps there system 24/7 with the bass boost all the way on there headunit/bass boost knob and volume at 1 click under max then yea, those subs wont last long.......yea i've had a bad night huh...
with each sub getting about 550wRMS at peak output, you'll be fine. set the amp gains properly, and try to avoid using any bass boost buttons on the amp.. that stuff tends to cause the amps to clip which can damage the subs. you should be good to go.
