New member Username: 69veePost Number: 1 Registered: 01-2004 | I would like to know if I would be better going with 1 10"W7 or 2 10"W6v2. If you guys have a better suggestion other than JL Audio, let me know. I have a 03 Yukon XL. My interior set up is front captain chairs, second row captain chairs, and a third row bench. I do not want to loose any cargo space, so instead of putting the sub box in the back, I would like to place it between the second row captain chairs. I would like to go with a sealed box with the speakers firing down or forward(depending on using 1 or 2 subs). I have about 11.5" in clearance between the chairs. That means the JL audio recommended demesions will fit just fine for the w7. Again, I am not opposed to other subs. I want really clean sound. I am choosing a 10 " because I listen to rap, jazz, and rock. Thanks for any input. |

New member Username: 69veePost Number: 2 Registered: 01-2004 | Couldn't I use two maybe three 10" subs to move more air or do I have to go with a 12"? I am not against having a 12", I just don't have room for one in between my captains chair. Also, do to my music tastes, I have been geared towards a 10". Money is not the issue. I want to do it right. If I have to wait 4-8 months to save the money I will. Thanks |

New member Username: 69veePost Number: 3 Registered: 01-2004 | I only have 11.5" between my captains chairs. I won't be able to fit a 12" sub. I do have enough room for 2 10" subs, or 1 10W7. If you can configure me a box for 12's that will fit betwwen 11.5", I am all about it. |

Bronze Member Username: HydroPost Number: 76 Registered: 12-2003 | The 10W6v2's are very nice for SPL and Sound Quality and would have more Air Displacement then one 10W7 does. |
Bronze Member Username: Its_bacon12Post Number: 86 Registered: 12-2003 | yeah ur right....if only u had more room to get a 12w7 or 13w7....oh well, yeah i would get the two 10w6v2's if your leaning toward JL audio and towards more air movement, well best of luck with your stuff man |
