Fact about the Solobaric L7 15"

if i bought 2 solo's on ebay for about $460 ...is that the loudest subs for the money or around that price

Is SPL all you care about?
If so, a pair of 4 Ohm S15L7s on an MTX Thunder81000D amp would be extremely loud.

my setup is 2 S15L7 (2ohm) subs and a rockford 1501bd which amp would be louder? the rockford or the MTXThunder8100D

what's the output of the RF?
the MTX is 1500x1, so 75o watts per sub.
personally I'd go with the MTX just because I think it's a better amp.
I'm not a big fan of RF's newer stuff.

Make sure you run a ported enclosure with the S15L7's if you're looking for max SPL. HUGE difference when going from sealed to ported, these subs like cu ft. Although a bit sloppy, they should get plenty loud.
