I plan on getting 1 JL Audio 12'' W6v2, 1 500/1 JL Audio Amp to power the W6v2, Infinity Kappa Perfect 5 1/4'' Component Speakers, an Alpine 4 Channel Amp to power the speakers, and an Alpine cda-9835 head unit. I also plan to have a custom box made for my sub. Should it be ported or sealed and is this setup good?

Whether or not its ported depends on your taste. try sealed first. also watch the gains a lil... 12 w6v2 is 400rms and the JL 500/1 is underrated big time. But... yes...It will sound good if its installed right good luck
