Guys i need help choosings which subs to roll with. I've heard nothing but good things about the Shiva's on this site, but are the rockford's are in same league? They both are similar RMS range. I need some honest opinions to push me over the top. Im looking for good SQ and SPL. As for enclosure im going with ported, but i don't know what Hz either subs should be tuned to? I have a 95 Ford Explorer so would cabin size matter? Last but not lease my amp is Rockford's X6. 425 watts @ 4 Ohm. 850 watts @2 Ohm. All audio enthusiast need apply. Thanks Guys!
go with the shivas...they'll blow away thos rockfrods in SQ and probably SPL

the shiva's are deffinetly a better driver, as far as sq goes, and spl.
but if your looking for a 15, id give the tempests a try(there pretty much a bigger shiva) awesome sq, and play very deep. as well as get extremely loud.
The 15'' hx2 are amazing subs. Your are comparing two very good subs, therefore it depens only of your taste. Try listening to them and see. Btw, i've seen ppl hit around 145 db with those 2 15", if that's what you are looking for, sq wise, they are quite good also.
