They are owned by Power Acoustik, but from what I've heard they are free to manufacture and engineer their own stuff as long as they are profitable, basically. The newer stuff is still on the questionable side, they've gone down the tube lately and unless they truly come out with some great stuff like they used to, I'd steer clear. Haven't heard the subs, but I haven't heard anything really great about them from reviewers and such. As far as 6kw goes, you can use that amp if you want to, remember that thing will draw tons of current and you'd need HO alternators (note the plural tense) hooked in parallel to properly power that amp and other accessories at full draw. If I were putting 6kw on any type of subs, I'd probably get Eclipse Titanium Pros, 15" or 18", and put those on that amp.

I believe USAmps offered a similar product as well.

why do ya need anything with that much power in a single amp though?

oh, the term btw is "wholly owned subsidiary," I believe.
It's similar to Acer owning Apoen or DCM owning McIntosh Labs.
they're owned by, but don't share manufacturing facilities with their parent company.

Yep, the US amps USA-6000 produces 6000W RMS bridged into 2 ohms.

Not only that, the amp is Class A/B, unlike the Soundstream which is Class D, so less distortion, absolutely huge damping, etc. Not that with 6000W RMS you're worried about the SQ. Being an AB amp that's 6000W RMS, the current draw would be a b*tch to supply, though.

you're kidding right?

that amp has 900 Amps worth of fuses on it...

you'd need 3-4 300 amp alternators atleast...

thats just rediculous
