Hey all, I have a dilemma. I am currently upgrading my system. Right now I have an 800 watt solid audio amp hooked up to a 10" kicker comp. Low budget I know.. BUT, I just bought a pair of Audiobahn alum 10Q 10"s(6 ohm DVC), as well as Polk Momo 6 1/2" 2ways, with crossovers included. I was wondering if i should hook up the new speakers to my 800 amp, as well as my new subs? OR, hook up the Polk speakers (160 watts peak, 80 RMS) to my kenwood reciever. OR, will i need to buy a whole new Amp that can handle my subs and the speakers both.. IF SO, what kind of amp do you all reccomend? How many watts, 2 channel, mono? or what? Hey thanks alot people!
Hey if you want a clean sound with lots of bass, get a seperate amp. I'd go with 4 channel to power front and rear, and a sub amp. That way when you crank up the volume, everything will sound very clean. MA Audio makes cheap 4 channel amp.
